Ryan Whitney
Ryan Whitney has been a member of the Sunrise Ward for nearly 15 years. Ryan and his wife Michelle, have five children (four girls and one boy) ranging in age from 10 to 22. A Washington native and graduate of BYU, Ryan has worked in the golf industry for more than 20 years and currently serves as General Manager of Sand Point Country Club in Seattle. In his rare, but treasured spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, taking frequent trips to the refrigerator, playing golf, hiking and rooting on his local professional teams.
Ryan served his full-time mission in Vina del Mar, Chile and has continued serving throughout the years in various capacities including Young Men's President, Ward Mission Leader, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Bishopric Member and most recently as Stake Mission Prep Instructor for the past three years. Watching our stake's young men and women catch the vision of this great gospel and serve missions around the world has been a thrill for Ryan.
